April >> showers bring May flowers and a shit ton of new music from great artists. Like, really a shit ton and many of these artists have already announced tours and/or confirmed participation in some of the biggest music festivals this year from Coachella to Lollapalooza.

Face-melting hardness in rock is represented to the max in April with studio releases from The Used, Chiodos, Chevelle and Lacuna Coil who are all on current tours spanning since this January. Then there's some illness with the chillness in Thievery Corporation and some alt+indie rep'd with new releases from Kaiser Chiefs and Manchester Orchestra.
In addition to all this there is one album that I'm mad excited for and that is Doom Abuse, the 9th studio release from The Faint and 1st in nearly 6 years! Prior to last year's Coachella and THAT DAMN SHOW I had almost forgotten about The Faint but some sick shows and now finally some freshness have my earholes anxious all over again and if this Doom Abuse is any sort of epic like they've done it live recently then we're in for quite a fucking treat.

So mark all of these album drops on your calendar now along with the rest of the April notables and I'll see ya at the next show.
