NYE > Streets of San Francisco ft. Steve Aoki

Eye heart San Francisco > the desert Party Posse took an excursion out to the city again to celebrate the coming of a brand new year and yet another amazing adventure, this time to Fort Mason for the Streets of San Francisco New Years Eve party.

Steve Aoki

The dawning of 2011 was brought in by the electronic hipster noise of DJ Steve Aoki and without any surprise he commemorated the gala in sick Dim Mak form. The sexy, saucy sell-out soldiers of celebration witnessed Steve Aoki command the marina's fort with some of his hardest house.

As the night rolled on, Aoki spun it harder and harder and just before the set's nightcap he even took the mic to throw down some hardcore neo-metal screamo vocals over some thunderous electronica in almost a Lords-of-Acid-meets-Refused stylee [he actually opened his set with a mix of Refused's 'New Noise' after the ball dropped].

The new year could not have started any more fantastic and it was just a prelude to what would ensue for after hours and the remainder of the weekend - this probably requires a follow-up post so please stand by for that. Happy 2011, Party Posse     :j Marc
