August has come >> and so will you to know how many great artists have new releases dropping this month. I've really grown to love Yeasayer and Minus The Bear over the past few years but I'm most excited about new albums from Circa Survive and one of my favorite bands of all time, Bloc Party.
Not counting the Intimacy Remixed album or Kele's solo project [both brilliant btw] it has been a painstaking nearly 4 years since the last Bloc Party release Intimacy. Last month the brits released the new album's first single 'Octopus' along with video. The song is great and it's good to see the band back together again making dope music. More zB speak to come about Bloc Party this month [covering Four and Outside Lands] but for now, here are the other notable releases to be on the lookout for in August.
