New Releases >> April: The Knife | Yeah Yeah Yeahs | Phoenix | Kid Cudi | Cold War Kids

April >> showers bring may flowers and a shit ton of new music from great artists. Like, really a shit ton and many of these artists have already announced tours and/or confirmed participation in some of the biggest music festivals this year from Coachella to Lollapalooza. So yeah, this is going to be a great month. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs >> Mosquito

Punk is represented to the max in April with studio releases from Alkaline Trio, Authority Zero and Face To Face who all make desert southwest appearances as well this month, including the return of THAT DAMN SHOW at Mesa Amphitheatre on 4.20. Speaking of 420, Kid Cudi's Man On The Moon saga follow-up Indicud drops that Tuesday after. Then there's Cold War Kids, Ghostface and Iron & Wine. But all said has only scratched the surface of what this month brings to the rack.

There are 3 of my favorite artists who return with long-awaited and well-overdue  albums: Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Phoenix and The Knife. The formers return after a 4-year hiatus while The Knife comes back after nearly 7 years! It's really a mondo magical month to have all 3 of these superb bands coming back from the dead and hitting us with this zombie shit.

So mark their album drops on your calendar now along with the rest of the April notables.
