Arctic Monkeys Suck It and See > today the band spearheading our new era British invasion release their latest studio album Suck It and See.

Arctic Monkeys

This long-awaited LP from Alex Turner and company rocks pleasantly arctic with not too much deviation from their familiar Beatles-meets-the-Fratellis indie sound. The opening track 'She's Thunderstorms' is the perfect intro which sets the mellow tone for the front half of the album and allowing for gradual up-tempo for the back half.

The first single 'Don't Sit Down 'Cause I've Moved Your Chair' features strong vocals and thick chords from Turner along with some tight distortion and sporadic stops. Perhaps the aforementioned or the substantial iPod/YouTube playtime might make it the strongest track.

On the other hand, the second single 'Brick By Brick' might be it's weakest. The verses' backup vocals are uncharacteristically annoying and the lyrics are less-than-clever at best. But rest assured that this particular excerpt from the release is it's only flaw as the rest of the album hits all the right notes and any will make good additions to your summertime playlists so pick this shit up. Do it.
