Nate Dogg > Nobody Does it Better

Nate Dogg

RIP Nate Dogg > yesterday the world lost another ex-Deathrow all-star and one of the godfathers of the G-Funk Era. Having dropped his vocals on nearly 50 releases to reach the Billboard charts, he paved the way for R&B smoothness over rap tracks and is arguably the best sidekick ever in soul artistry.

Over the course of nearly 2 decades, artists like 2Pac, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre and Eminem could always count on Nate to lay down his trademark baritone magic for that special lift they needed to make their tracks the utmost illest. He made such a superb yet subtle impact to hip-hop and while his solo career never really launched, he'll still remain untouchable against jokes like T-Pain who's artificial vocals and phony G demeanor will go away eventually.

Nate Dogg's contributions were historic. Here are just a few of the gems that I'll always remember him by:

RIP and...smoke weed everyday     :j Marc
